What does it mean to love god, or even, what is God? Does God exist?

These are very abstract questions that I believe everyone should or will ask themselves at some point in life.

In 2020, the size of each major world religion broke down as follows: 31% Christian, 25% Islamic, 16% unaffiliated, 15% Hindu, 6.5% Buddhist, and about 5.5% folk religions.

The terms used for God are equally numerous. Around the world, names like God, Allah, source, and infinite intelligence are ascribed to a higher being.

Early people groups gave special attention to the characteristics their culture valued most.

Polytheistic religions have multiple gods embodying the different characteristics of god. Most of the major religions seem to agree on a few key characteristics.

In Christian theology, the catechism is a summary of doctrine that serves as a learning introduction to the Sacraments. Sacraments are just religious ceremonies or rituals. A modern way to describe them might even be spiritual habits and routines .

Regardless of most sects of Christianity, the core catechism is widely accepted.

The Bible makes it abundantly clear that God created man and that he created him for His glory. Therefore, the ultimate purpose of man, according to the Bible, is simply to glorify God.

When we look to the Quran we find a similar message:

And We did not create the heaven and the earth and that between them aimlessly.

That is the assumption of those who disbelieve. (Sad 38:27)

I did not create Jinn and Man for anything but worshipping Me. (al-Dhariyyat 51:56)
